Please read these terms carefully before bringing your device in for repair or using our digital services.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of repair and digital services provided by IFix Phones US ("we," "our," or "us"), located at 8 Albany Ave, New Britain, CT 06053, as well as your use of our website at ifixphonesus.com. By leaving a device for repair, engaging our digital services, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
By using any of our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent), that you own or are authorized to authorize repairs on the device you bring in, and that you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Authorization: By leaving your device with us, you authorize IFix Phones US to perform diagnostics and the repair services you have requested. We will not begin any repair until you have reviewed and approved our estimate.
Pre-existing conditions: We will document the condition of your device at drop-off. IFix Phones US is not responsible for pre-existing damage, cosmetic wear, or issues unrelated to the repair we perform.
Data backup: You are solely responsible for backing up your data before bringing in your device. While we take precautions to protect your data, some repairs may result in data loss. We strongly recommend backing up before drop-off.
Turnaround time: Quoted repair times are estimates only and may be affected by parts availability, unforeseen technical issues, or service volume. We will communicate any significant delays.
Right to refuse service: We reserve the right to decline a repair if we determine the device is unrepairable, if performing the repair poses safety risks, or for any other reasonable business reason. A diagnostic fee may apply in such cases.
Diagnostics are provided free of charge with no obligation. A written estimate will be provided before any repair begins. Prices include both parts and labor unless otherwise stated.
If during a repair we discover additional issues that require extra work or parts beyond the original estimate, we will contact you for approval before proceeding. We will not perform work beyond the approved estimate without your explicit consent.
All repairs performed by IFix Phones US carry a 90-day warranty on parts and labor from the date of repair completion. This warranty covers defects in the parts we installed and workmanship errors.

To make a warranty claim, return the device to our New Britain location within 90 days. We will inspect the device and determine warranty eligibility. Warranty repairs are performed at no charge for covered defects.
Our technicians will only access your device to the extent necessary to perform the requested repair. We do not access, copy, or transmit your personal files, photos, messages, or accounts.
However, some repairs (such as software troubleshooting) may require temporary access to your device's interface. If you wish to protect your data during repair, you may set a temporary PIN or remove sensitive accounts before drop-off.
We comply with all applicable Connecticut and federal privacy laws regarding the handling of personal data.
Devices not picked up within 30 days of repair completion or notification that the device is ready will be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you via the information provided at drop-off.
Abandoned devices may be assessed a storage fee of $5 per day after the 30-day period. Devices abandoned for more than 90 days may be recycled, donated, or disposed of in accordance with Connecticut law. IFix Phones US will not be liable for abandoned devices.
For website development, software, and digital consulting services, a separate written agreement or project proposal will govern the specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing. These Terms apply in addition to any such project agreement.
Intellectual property: Upon full payment, you will own the deliverables we create specifically for your project (custom code, design assets). We retain the right to use open-source components, frameworks, and pre-existing tools. We may display completed projects in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.
Third-party services: Digital projects may rely on third-party platforms (hosting, domain registrars, payment processors). We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or pricing changes by those third parties.
Revisions: Revision scope will be defined in your project agreement. Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.
Payment is due upon completion of repair services and before device pickup. We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and other payment methods as posted in our shop.
For digital services, payment schedules are defined in the project agreement (typically a deposit upfront and the balance upon completion or milestone delivery).
We reserve the right to retain a repaired device until payment is received in full.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, IFix Phones US's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Hartford County, Connecticut.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
